hi-impact snack box

a high-end direct mailer in the form of, you guessed it, a box of snacks.

this direct mailer is a part of a larger, more extensive campaign known as the hi-impact campaign that was launched in october 2023. this campaign consists of 10 direct mailers that were sent out to agents over the course of several weeks. these direct mailers were not just ordinary sheets of paper or postcards; they were bold, well thought-out concepts, such as a balloon box, a snack box, a 5ft. press release, interactive growth charts, a lenticular, and so on.

the snack box concept was created around the idea of “it’s time to celebrate,” after homes.com had reached 100 million unique visitors a month. while all of our previous direct mailers and gifts to agents were pieces for individuals, we shifted our focus to creating something that could be shared and sent to brokerages. naturally, that’s when the name “snack box” was born, and it stuck. as someone who is a snack lover, i took ownership of this project with great joy. this project juggled a multitude of tasks: designing the physical box (exterior & interior), designing the stickers to go on each snack item, designing the informative insert that would go inside the box, and then communicate with the various vendors and review proofs. with so many moving parts, i found it helpful to create mock-ups of the (hopeful) end result, as well as the logistical side of things like where each snack item should go in the box and which sticker should be placed on which box. by doing this, it helped to ensure stakeholders, vendors, and myself were all on the same page from beginning to end. due to that, this project allowed me to take ownership of a project from start to finish, be openly creative and innovative, and utilize a variety of my skillsets at once. i was able to focus on creating a clean design that felt cohesive, celebratory, and inviting.

contents in snack box include: chocolate chip cookies, butter toffee pretzels, caramel popcorn, and two flavors of california gummies

the work included: graphic design, print design, packaging design, & final mock-ups

note: this project was produced at homes.com, and is the sole property of homes.com.
