in a cute way … in un modo carino

graphic designer

a newspaper made to celebrate and reflect on the completion of my study abroad in italy.

this newspaper was created to serve as a token of my time in italy while studying abroad. it was a collaborative project, so the work was made by myself and several other designers.

since this was a collaborative project, the greatest challenge and accomplishment, was blending several designer’s ideas and design styles together into one, cohesive piece. we spent hours brainstorming, drafting ideas, vouching for our ideas to be heard, and finalizing the timeline of the project. with several creatives sitting at one table, there was always an abundance of feedback, assistance, and perspective on the work being created. we focused on the idea ‘in a cute way’—symbolized through objects, keepsakes, astrology, memories, and textures and colors. our main goal was to create a newspaper that represented our amount of love we shared for each other and the city in which we bonded in.
