moon, do you read me?

a love story to the moon.

this publication takes inspiration from a childhood classic, “love you forever” by Robert Munsch. with the premise of this short story outlining a mother and son’s unconditional love with one another, my publication conveys a similar love and bond with the moon and earth.

one challenging aspect of this project was finding a powerful way to connect the earth and moon together, similar to the love between a mother and child. and then it hit me—write a love story that tells the tale of long lost lovers. this story then spiraled beautifully, emphasizing issues on global warming, connection, heartache, unconditional love, and abuse.
